Buffet breakfast in Hotel Granada Center

Living room in Hotel Granada Center
We easily found the hotel and were able to leave our car on the street for a bit while we checked in. The room was quite spacious, quiet and comfortable. We had to park down the street in a parking garage as the hotel parking was full. We were able to walk around the neighborhood from the hotel and found a few little bars for a quick drink. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and the host was very nice, Luis, I believe, but I'm not 100% positive. We were able to walk almost everywhere, but did take a taxi up to the Albaicin area for dinner as it is a fairly far walk. The hotel bar is light and spacious and we enjoyed a wine and complimentary tapas after a long day of sightseeing. It was a very nice stay. For those that like the nightlife, it seems as though a LOT of the university students were in the area for late night. When we woke up in the morning, there were many kids just going home past our hotel. It wasn't loud or anything, but it is an ideal location if late-night is your thing.

Breakfast was very good. My friend is coeliac and I am gluten intolerant. This was not a problem for the breakfast team; we had let them know and they were expecting us. We were provided with very tasty GF bread and some pastry biscuits that were ok too. Plenty of cheese, ham, eggs etc with lovely coffee as well - it was all spotlessly clean and the staff were polite and friendly, sadly, I missed the name of the gentleman who gave us the bread each morning, but he was very kind - it was an excellent experience all round thank you. The hotel is very stylish and well kept, with plenty of space to move around including ramps if you are a wheelchair user or of limited mobility. The receptionists were also all polite and helpful especially Eva who helped us find our way around the town on the map - thank you Eva :) Taxis were easily ordered at reception and came promptly with no fuss, usually costing about 5 - 8 euros to Alhambra etc.

One word for this hotel: perfect. The highly professional service by the staff mixed with a comfortable and familiar note especially, but not ony, by Miss Olga and her collegue which took care of us at the first night turned our 5 nights stay in Granada into an unforgettable adventure. Thank you so much. The hotel is located about 10min walk to the cathedral. So you are very close to the center of Granada. On the other hand you are close to non-touristic parts of this city and it's a quiet area at night and morning. We stayed in different rooms during our visit. All of them were clean, nice and completly as we wished and suspected. But: If you have the time and money stay in the beautiful and enourmous junior suite. We travel a lot. I have never seen such a beautiful full-service suite like this. We highly recommend Hotel Granada Center. Hope to see you soon. And thank you again.

Very smart hotel not far from the station short walk into old town. Reception staff on check in helpful although there is a ramp up to the lifts it’s quite a long route my husband has Parkinson’s and found the frequent short steps difficult as they are dark in colour. The smoking area was outside the main doors so a bit off putting when we got back the first night and had to try and get past people sitting all over the front steps. The toiletries weren’t great and some liquid soap by the bathroom sink rather than a tiny bar of soap with no dish would have been better but there was a kettle in the room which was great

The location of the hotel is perfect. Main attractions can be reached easily by public transport or walking. The parking of the hotel made it also very convenient to rent a car. The hotel offered delicious food. On top of enjoying a rich breakfast buffet, we particularly enjoyed the half-board evening menu. The room was very comfortable and clean. The view from the terrace was mesmerising. Lastly, the staff was very helpful whether it was helping us navigate the city or to accommodate our needs.
